What Is Sublimation Printing?
Sublimation uses heat to transfer specially prepared artwork into a compatible coated surface.

Better Files Create Better Finished Products
Original photographs and high-resolution artwork generally produce better results than screenshots, social-media downloads or heavily compressed images.

High Resolution
Small or blurry files may appear soft, pixelated or unclear when printed at a larger size.

Not Every Mug or Tumbler Can Be Sublimated
Sublimation requires a compatible coating or specially manufactured surface. An ordinary store-bought mug or tumbler may not accept the transfer.

Before Starting Your Project
Can you print any photograph?
Most clear, high-resolution photographs can be considered. Small, blurry, heavily compressed or poorly lit images may not produce a satisfactory result.
Can you use a picture from Facebook?
A social-media image may be too compressed for printing. The original photograph from the phone or camera is strongly preferred.
Can you print on a mug I already own?
Only mugs specifically manufactured or coated for sublimation are suitable. Ordinary ceramic mugs generally cannot be used.
Can the design wrap around the entire mug?
Many mug designs can wrap around much of the printable surface, but a small unprinted area may remain near the handle or seam.
Can every item have a different name?
Yes, individual names may be added. Provide all names in an organized list and carefully review spelling before production.
Are sublimation mugs dishwasher safe?
Care instructions depend on the product and manufacturer. Hand washing is often the safest way to preserve the appearance of a personalized item.
How long does production take?
Turnaround depends on product availability, artwork preparation, quantity and the current production schedule. Contact us early when the project has a firm deadline.
Can I make changes after approving the design?
Changes may not be possible after production begins. Review photographs, spelling, dates, colors and placement carefully before approval.
