Community Support Is Part of Who We Are
The Upper Perkiomen Valley has supported our business, and we believe local businesses should help strengthen the communities around them.
Throughout the year, UPV Shipping supports local organizations through donated gift baskets, products, event sponsorships, promotional support and special partnerships.
We are especially interested in opportunities that benefit local families, students, youth programs, volunteer organizations and nonprofit groups serving our region.
Although we cannot fulfill every request, we review each submission carefully and try to help as many organizations as our annual resources allow.
Supporting More Than One Local Business
Gift Baskets Featuring Local Makers
Many donated baskets feature products from artisans and small businesses represented in the UPV Shipping General Store.
A basket may include locally made tea, honey, coffee, soap, candles, sweets, snacks, handcrafted merchandise or other seasonal products.
This allows one donation to support the nonprofit receiving it while also introducing more people to local and American-made products.
A Fair Review Process
How We Consider Requests
We want our support to reach a broad range of organizations rather than concentrate all available resources in only a few events.
Request Received
The organization submits complete information about the event, request and date needed.
Local Impact Reviewed
We consider how the event benefits Pennsburg and the surrounding Upper Perkiomen community.
Timing Considered
We review the event date, advance notice and other requests already approved during the same period.
Support Matched
The final form of support may differ from the original request based on current resources and inventory.
Organization Contacted
When we are able to assist, we contact the organization with the approved support and pickup details.
Support Distributed Fairly
We track requests throughout the year so we can help a variety of causes and organizations.
Why Every Request Cannot Be Approved
We Receive More Requests Than We Can Fulfill
We are grateful that so many organizations think of UPV Shipping when planning fundraisers and community events.
Because the number of requests exceeds the resources available, submitting a request does not guarantee a donation or sponsorship. We consider local impact, timing, prior support, available inventory and other requests already received.
When we cannot fulfill a request, it does not reflect the value of the organization or its mission. It simply allows us to spread support among as many local groups as possible throughout the year.
Before You Submit
Community Request Guidelines
Complete information helps us review requests more consistently and fairly.
Please submit your request as early as possible. Requests received shortly before an event may not allow enough time for review, preparation or pickup.
Organizations should submit one request per event. Repeated calls, emails or in-person requests will not increase the likelihood of approval.

Submission does not guarantee approval. Please do not advertise UPV Shipping as a sponsor until you receive confirmation.

Our IronPigs partnership gives us another way to share memorable local experiences with customers and community organizations.
Throughout the season, UPV Shipping may offer ticket giveaways and opportunities to enjoy games from the suite level at Coca-Cola Park.

Submitting one complete request is the best way to have your organization considered.
Does UPV Shipping support local nonprofits?
Yes. We consider requests from local nonprofits, schools, youth groups, civic organizations and community programs.
Is every request approved?
No. We receive more requests than we can fulfill. Each request is reviewed based on local impact, timing, prior support and available resources.
How far in advance should we apply?
Submitting at least four weeks before the event is recommended. More notice may be needed for larger sponsorship requests.
Can we request a gift basket?
Yes. Gift baskets are one of the most common forms of support we provide for raffles, auctions and fundraising events.
Can we choose the exact basket products?
You may describe the event and audience, but donated basket contents are generally determined by current inventory, season and available budget.
Do you provide cash sponsorships?
Selected events may receive financial sponsorship, but many approved requests are fulfilled through products, gift baskets, services or other in-kind support.
Should we call after submitting?
Repeated calls are not necessary. Please provide complete information and allow time for the request to be reviewed.
Can we identify UPV Shipping as a sponsor immediately?
No. Please wait until the request has been reviewed and sponsorship or donation support has been confirmed.
